Enjoy Your May Day with a Great Book

Posts that we Love!

May Day on May 1 is an old northern hemisphere spring celebration as well as generally a public holiday; [1] it is also a typical spring holiday in several cultures. Dancings, vocal singing, as well as covered are generally part of the celebrations that the day includes.

In the late 19th century, May Day was chosen as the date for International Workers' Day by the Socialists as well as Communists of the Second International to celebrate the Haymarket affair in Chicago. International Workers' Day may also be described as "May Day", yet it is a different party from the standard May Day.
